Verdict
The Vivo Xplay 7 is a high-end performer smartphone featuring a superb dual camera setup on both end panels. The cameras are brilliant, you get one of the best photography and videography experience. You can make use of screen flash during low light condition. The 2K display produces one of the most detailed, sharpest images one could possibly see on a smartphone screen. The performance and battery backup are excellent (fast charging support). Overall, the Vivo Xplay 7 is one the best high-end smartphones with great cameras.

Display and Configuration

With the Vivo Xplay 7 comes a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display which features a screen resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. Driving the smartphone, are two Quad Core Kryo 280 processors assisted by a 6GB of RAM placed upon Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 chipset. An Adreno 540 graphics card outputs good quality visualization. The smartphone runs on Android v7.1 (Nougat) OS, features a fingerprint sensor and is available in two variants - black and white.

Camera and Storage

The handset is stacked with dual cameras at the back (16MP + 13MP) as well as on the front (20MP + 8MP). Both end snappers capture mesmerising shots and superb quality videos. The video calling experience is clear. The rear shooters support 4K video recording and the selfie cameras support 1080p Full HD video recording. The user can switch on the screen flash for low light photography and videography. On the storage ground, the Vivo Xplay 7 houses a 128GB internal memory. There is no external microSD card slot present.

Battery and Connectivity

Acting as an energy booster is a 3,500mAh Li-Polymer battery which keeps the show running for long hours. It supports fast charging. On the networking front, the Vivo Xplay 7 offers a wide range of options such as Dual SIM slot, 4G, 3G, 2G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C.

Xiaomi is getting ready to launch a gaming-oriented phone, similar to what we've seen with the  Razer Phone .
